After the confrontation with Brand, Kate had been in the infirmary, but there was little to be done there. Injuries for the most part were minimal, at least physically. All the trauma was on the mind and the soul, and that had been left very tattered after the demon was torn forcefully from her body. She had been so weakened that when the demon finally took full control, Kate's side had been flung aside and locked away. And now, that consciousness remained asleep, unaware still that its former roommate was gone. And with no active mind present to animate the body, the body breathed, the heart beat, and the body slept on, recovering. It was resting on Kate's bed in her room. Nothing to note the hours passing during the lengthy slumber.

Gently, he traces her face,

"Shh, Kate, naught to bother yerself 'bout. 'rhaps should pleasure ye this eve then since its on yer mind."

"Yes, no, I mean, no, I thought it was on your mind. Since you're a guy, and no that's not what I had meant."

She sighed to cut off her stammering, and focused on the scented bathwater instead of his face.

"Dinna care 'bout me at the moment, love, just wish ye to be 'appy is all. Missed 'avin' ye as ye an with time for us."

He kisses her forehead and returns to massaging her back since she's gotten all tense again.

"I miss me as me too, if that makes any sense. I probably just need to rest more."

"Got the time for it. Make sure ye sleep with na nightmares this eve, do all I can. Make ye a 'appy puddle o'Kate."

A groan as she loosened up, "Well it's working."

She was hoping for no nightmares, but already familiar with trauma, she knew what that meant. She shoved those thoughts aside, and relaxed.

"Love, gotten all I can in 'ere, will dry ye off an continue on the bed."

Since she's not sleeping until he's massaged every bit of her he can reach.

She nodded, "Water's getting cold anyway, and got the pruney hands." Kate started to stand up, and almost slipped.

He catches her and helps her stand up as he wraps her in a warm fluffy towel,

"Can ye walk on yer own?"

"I think so. Just slower than usual. I need to be moving anyway, and it's slippery here." She carefully stepped out on the floor, and straightened up.

It takes a moment for him to pull the plug and work to rub her down,

"Ye go lay down an I'll start massagin' what I missed an if ye fall asleep, I'll tuck ye in."

"I hope I don't fall asleep yet, seems silly after spending several days doing that." She then made her way back to the bed, and flopped down on her stomach.

He finds some lavender massage oil and starts at her shoulders, working his way downwards,

"Naught wrong with more rest an ye'll be in me arms."

"So easy to please," she smirked, and then moaned as he found some hidden knots she wasn't aware of.

"With ye, aye I am." Moans like that are good to hear as he works on her back, stopping when he finds some worrisome knots. Every once in a while he kisses her skin as he feels her relax.

"I noticed," And she was relaxing more and more on the bed as her whole back slowly loosened up. Also a pleased noise at the kisses.

He's now down at her lower back which is where she seems to hold a lot of tension so he takes his time,

"Cause I love ye so much, Kate."

"Love youuuu toooo-oh, oh yes, right there. Oooooh, ow."

That makes him grin and kiss the base of her spine as he finally gets that knot out and then his hands stroke her from the top of her spine all the way down.

Hitched breath, but then she relaxed even more into the bed.

This time he kisses his way back up, he said he was going to melt her and he plans to.

By the contented moans he was receiving, she definitely was getting there. She closed her eyes as she rested her cheek against the pillow, and sighed happily again.

His hands are gently dancing over her skin as he kisses her back and neck.

The moans make him smile so he works to find all the ways he knows to relax her at least on this side.

And he knew so many as she moaned happily again, and feeling very relaxed. So relaxed that while it was tempting to turn over, she felt too utterly loosened and relaxed to do so.

So he helps her and gentle lifts her with a small wince and turns her over, his hands and lips ever so lightly trailing down her body.
