After the confrontation with Brand, Kate had been in the infirmary, but there was little to be done there. Injuries for the most part were minimal, at least physically. All the trauma was on the mind and the soul, and that had been left very tattered after the demon was torn forcefully from her body. She had been so weakened that when the demon finally took full control, Kate's side had been flung aside and locked away. And now, that consciousness remained asleep, unaware still that its former roommate was gone. And with no active mind present to animate the body, the body breathed, the heart beat, and the body slept on, recovering. It was resting on Kate's bed in her room. Nothing to note the hours passing during the lengthy slumber.

She sighed, and finally set the tea down to the side.

After several minutes, she finally remarked, "...Really put us through hell didn't I?"

"Nay, love, Brand did, na ye. 'e tricked ye an convinced ye, canna blame yerself for this whole mess, willna let ye."

His tea is set down and he gives her a hug and a kiss on her cheek.

"I could have walked away a lot sooner from him, refused his assistance. I'm responsible for some of this, can't blame it completely on Brand." She did kiss him back when he did so though.

"Aye, but ye also canna take it all on yerself, will destroy ye 'nother way."

He strokes her hair since he learned that lesson after the gallows.

"I know, a lot of it I couldn't control, and won't let that get to me. Just the beginning that I did have control... that's different."

"'ave faith in yerself, Kate, was 'ow 'e got in. Made ye tear yerself 'bpart with doubt. Now lean back, I'll wash yer 'air."

He loves her dark hair and wishes to show her how much he loves her and trusts her.

"I know, Will. Just give me some time." She sighed, the tea starting to strengthen her throat and vocal cords so it wasn't as raspy.

She leaned back against the tub, her nose twitching. "Hmm, lilacs too."

"Aye, put a bit o'e'erythin' in. Now dunk yer 'air for me, got a shampoo that smells o'.."

He stops to look at the label and kisses her forehead,

"Fresia an aye, ye've all the time ye need an me beside ye. We'll get 'way from 'ere when ye're ready, find a place with a beach an a forest an 'ores, just us, aye?"

"Sounds wonderful," She settled more into the warm water with a content sigh, and then dunked her head in to wet her hair. She then lifted her head back again as she settled back.

His fingers are strong and gentle as he massages the shampoo into her, making sure that she feels good. He even starts singing quietly as he imagines swimming with her,

"Be fun, ye can e'en get me one o'those things to wear when swimmin' since ye may enjoy me in naught at all but well dinna wish to share."

There was a more relaxed sigh from her, the massage felt good, and she always liked his singing.

"A bathing suit you mean? Yes, doubt any beach would be nude."

"Oh aye, now rinse for me, love an I'll do yer bath. What sorts o'things do fellows wear to swim anyway? I've always go in either in me 'ose or naught."

She dunked her head and moved her fingers through the strands to get the shampoo out. She then brought her back again.

"Boxers, swimming trunks, or speedos usually." There was a curious light in her eyes for a moment.

He kisses the tip of her nose and starts massaging her back,

"Oh aye an what's a speedo?"

There was a grateful groan from her since there were a lot of knots again from all the recent stress and trauma.

She just got a mental image and there was something between a chuckle and an 'ooh' of interest. Not exactly the reply he had to be going for.

The massage is a bit harder and has a tickle thrown in,

"Wasna an answer, love."

"Yes it was." Another giggle. "I'd have to show you one."

"Then ye'll 'ave to show me one."

He kisses her back as he massages, finding all the knots and painful moments.

"Ask Bar for a catalog," She groaned loudly and sank into the tub more as her muscles loosened.

"Fine will do that an 'rhaps get ye one that just covers 'ere an 'ere."

One hand moves around to her front to poke her two breasts and lower, he saw a bikini on Scarlet, not his fault.

She twitched at that, and then stared at him.

"Ok, who told you about bikinis?"

He blushes and says it to her neck,

"Um, saw the Devil in one an 'membered cause ye'd look lovely in one."

The shyness and worry is coming through his voice even if that's coming through her hair and neck.

".......Figures," was her only reply to that before falling silent again.

Now he's worried and focuses on massaging her back,

"Was a foolish idea, ne'er mind."

"She's not the best influence around, in fact probably right up there with Br......never mind." She wasn't one to talk with everything that's happened.
