Back to New York for another visit

They walked through the door, and it lead out to a street a few blocks from the warehouse where the team now trained.

Kate got out her cellphone, and texted a message, her other hand linked with Will's.

"Just letting Cassie and the others know we're on our way. Another example of modern technology, a lot quicker than trying to call across a town square, and longer distance," She held up the phone to show him the modern device.

"Should get it for 'im o'course. Though canna quite figure out the name on it, someone I've ne'er 'eard o'Qui John Jin."

"Um, somebody else I suppose," Not saying more on the movie or anything, just in case. There was then the sound of a lightsaber being switched on, and then waved around. But when they went to look, it was another boy, looked to be around junior high age who was playing with a Force FX saber. A blue one.

"Should we get one of those too?"

Will's just going to be laughing for a moment,

"Nay, think this should do it for now."

"You sure? You can hit him with one, or spar, and not have to worry about losing limbs?"

"'e 'as a regular sword that we spar with, only e'er shown me 'is saber. Do ye want one, love, so ye can whap us when we're bein' idiots?"

She snickered a little at that, "Tempting." She then happened to find an area with some super soaker guns.

"Or maybe something like this."

It takes Will a moment or two to figure out what they are and then just laughs again, hugging Kate tightly,

"Do ye really wish to arm us more then we are already, love?"

She wryly remarked, "Who said this would be for either of you?"

"Mmm, if ye wish to get me wet, sure we can figure somethin' out. Go swimmin' in the lake when weather's warmed up some more."

Also Kate is getting a small kiss right behind her ear.

"And see me in a bikini, I'm guessing?" She sucked in her breath in surprise at the kiss.

She then whispered fiercely at him, "Will, not in the toy store. There's children running all over the place."

She then added, "Anyway, if you don't be a good boy, there'll be no toys or ice cream later."

"Kate, love, ye worry too much, all I did was give ye a wee kiss, na my fault it makes ye think o'other things. Ye wear whate'er ye wish since ye're always beautiful."

Then he moves to just hold her hand and gives it a squeeze,

"Tis there anythin' else ye wish to show me 'ere?"

"Well, there's the sports area with basketballs and footballs I guess. Actually there's a lot more store still."

Kate just gave him a look, "Right, and you taking an unfair advantage of a lady's weakness has nothing to do with it?"

She then lead him to some more areas of the stores, like sporting equipment, and then video games and electronics.

He just follows along beside her while his thumb makes circles on her hand,

"Love, canna take 'vantage o'ye 'less ye let me."

The various sports things make him laugh,

"Ne'er knew could be so many different kinds o'balls."

Kate started to say something, but Will's comment just caught her off guard. She'll say something in a moment, but she's too busy laughing right now.

Will just realized what he said so blushes and hugs Kate and tickles her.

She just yelped and laughed harder at that. And then grabbed a foam bat to hit him back to stop the tickling.

Foam bat, tickling Kate, tickling wins and Will continues just laughing a good bit.

Still laughing, Kate remarked in between, "We should... head to... other store... Before we get... kicked out!"

"Aye, we should, get Atton's present too."

He finally stops and gives her a light kiss on the lips.

Quick kiss back, "Mmm-hmm."

Kate was also secretly slipped something to an employee to be giftwrapped and taken to the register to be paid for there.

He heads back towards the elevator with her hand firmly in his and presses the buttons to head down,

"I got some coin from yer time so I'll get this an ye can tell me where we'll go an do next."

Kate waited until the elevator doors closed, and then remarked, "All right, well Toys R'Us is right by here too. Also, there might be time to get a bite to eat, and catch a show?"

"Sounds lovely, thank ye for being patient with me, Kate."

"You're lucky I am," She ruefully said, and kissed him again.

He takes his time with the kiss and then the elevator stops, "Know I am."

Luckily the line to the register isn't too long and it takes Will a moment or two to figure out the money, but gets Atton's present all set and even gets it wrapped in shiny paper too.
