Civil War: Prison Break and One Last Battle

She kept Will's hand closely linked in hers as she opened the door to a place that was full of metal, and underground. Realizing how strange and disturbing it must look to the medieval man with dark memories she squeezed his hand a little tighter. Looked quiet enough around this hallway at least for the time being as she walked along in her Hawkeye costume. Her boots making slight noise against the tiled floor.

"Need to find a place you can hide until I can introduced you to Cap. At least my teammates can vouch for you now as well. Everybody's really nervous with the plans to get into the prison now."

"Just was a dark an 'orrible place was all. I'll be fine, promise."

He does his best to look better, it was terrifying and like facing some of his memories as if they were new again, but he lives and that's what counts.

She unfolded her arms, and then brought them out to pull him into a hug. One hand smoothing up and down his back while the other stroked his hair.

"Need a moment?" She whispered.

"Can wait a bit, get ye into the bath then after will just 'old ye tight an love ye."

She insisted and nuzzled him, "Bath can wait a little, you can't."

"Let me least turn the water off."

He hugs her tightly and goes to the bathroom, coming back and running a hand through her hair and down her back,

"Just the darkness felt so close, made me feel powerless an alone."

Her head slightly lolled back at the feel of his hand. She then hugged him tighter, "Shhh... you know that's not true."

His hand keeps moving through her hair as he holds her tight,

"Know that, ye were right there, could feel yer 'and, just scared me was all. Didna wish to let ye down."

Kate nodded and her head rested on his shoulder to the side, "It wasn't the first time I've had to teleported by him, that's how I knew. That and I didn't want you to get separated from me. And shush, you didn't let me down, Will."

He gathers her into his arms just kissing passionately and fiercely before knowing he can trust himself to speak,

"Love ye so much, Kate."

Brief surprise, and then kissed back deeply.

She then whispered to him, "I know, love you too." Her fingers trailed down along his cheek and neck, and she then backed away to head into the bathroom. Laying the robe off to the side to step in.

Still very warm water, and the scent was calming. The sigh from her this time was more content.

He comes in and takes off his shirt and sits on the edge of the tub, running his hand on the water above her,

"Ye look beautiful, love. Thank ye an ye've a good team beside ye back there."

"We look out for each other, can't be a good team without that." She settled back in the bathtub to lounge out with another content sigh.

Pointed look back at him as she added, "We might not be fighting against a corrupt Sheriff, and false King, but we do our best."

He likes seeing her lounge but she's owed some pampering,

"Tis my turn to take care o'ye I think."

Then moves around to her head so he can wash her hair and massage her back.

"Mmmm, all right."

She certainly wasn't going to protest. Some more content sighs, and then almost purrs from her as she felt his nimble fingers slide through her hair, and then against her back.

As he's washing her hair, he kisses around her neck and then works at getting all her knots taken care of.

There might be a gentle caress thrown in since she's beautiful and looks so content.

Between the calming scent of the lavender, the warm water, and Will's capable hands, she could feel some of the held in tension release. There was also a groan as his hands found a particular stubborn knot just under her shoulder blade.

He works at it and quietly sings to her, its a slight serenade intermixed with a kiss as he works at her knots.

She closed her eyes, and there was another knot, just to the middle and left of her back....There, gone. She seemed very peaceful, almost like she was going to fall asleep right in the bath. But then her eyes fluttered open, and there was a groan as the last of the knots toward her lower back were kneaded out.

He kneels down, wrapping his arms around her in the bath and kissing her hair,

"Feelin' better?"

She nodded, and quietly said, "A little bit. Thank you."

He moves around to her front, still leaning over the tub and kisses her gently,

"What else can I do for ye, love?"

She kissed back, "Feeling pretty tired actually." The adrenaline had worn off now, and the lavender, massage, and singing helped to calm her, but also was making her want to sleep. And recent troubled sleep only added to the exhaustion.

After another small kiss, he gets a fluffy towel for her,

"Then ye'll just sleep long as ye need. Can read to ye if ye wish or just 'old ye."

She got up carefully out of the bath, and stepped out, releasing the plug in the tub. She grabbed the towel from him.

She dried herself off before switching to the robe, and walked back out into the main room. She then sat down on the bed, and yawned.

"You can read if you want to, Will. The practice will be good for you."

He smiles at her before getting himself ready for bed and pulling up the covers,

"I'll read some o'those fairy tales from 'fore, seems like they might be nice an ye'll be asleep 'fore ye know it."
